Simon is the son of Simon and Catherine Leach and was born in Wokingham, Berkshire, England in 1580.  Susan was also born in the same year and they are the second oldest generation of the 14 traceable generations of my family and this line leads to my grandmother Emily Brosnan.  The names flow from Leach (5 generations), to Houltan (3 generations), to Durden, to Wareing (3 generations), to Brosnan and finally to Woodhouse.

They had ten children, however, two of them did not live past infancy.  They were – Simon (1600-1628), Catherine (1605), Henry (1607-1607), Mary (1611), Ann (1614-1614), Martha (1615), Thomas (1617), Anne (1619), Rachel (1622) and Michael (1625).

Simon Leach passed away in 1628.  Their oldest son Simon also died the same year but by then he had married Anne Simes and fathered a child, whose name surprisingly was Simon.

Susan Leach passed away in 1633 and below is a copy of her last will that was written in 1632. It details the names of their children and what they were to receive.
